Not sure about Emily but did she not marry a soldier and return to the UK? (By the way a Bush was a witness at one of the London weddings, cannot remember which). Maybe Emily was still in Oz as there were kids born in Western Australia, but then they would have sailed from Perth. Sorry to be so circumspect but I am sounding out the possibility they went back to visit Edwina and/or Edwin Arthur and/or Frederick. 3. I found Edwin Arthur Griffiths in the National Probate Register. He died 26 April 1868 as a bachelor. No doubt the right body as administration was granted to Emily Adria Bush of 1 Worcester-terrace, Clifton, Glos. widow the sister and one of the next of kin (so there were others?). He was officiating deputy collector of the Salt Revenue Department at Kheura. He lived and died at Pind Dadun Khan in the Punjaub (sic). Can our India experts build further on this?
