G'day all, Further to my mail to contact Theresa regarding problems with comcast.net, Theresa has contacted the ISP and was advised to action this link: http://www.comcastsupport.com/Forms/NET/blockedprovider.asp and that it would take 3-5 days to fix.......unbelievable. Comcast alleged that the blocking was because of "exorbitant amount of mail", what a joke! This info is repeated as a way of thanking the List and as advice to other Listers who have been similarly "blocked". Thanks Theresa. Bill Melbourne, Oz

Hi,I am trying to find someone who submitted information to www.familysearch.org. I believe we may share a common ancestor. I have no idea of this person's email or even if they are still alive. All I have is what they submitted. If someone knows this person or their email or even if they still live at the given address, please let me know. Living in Canada, it is difficult to contact them without knowing their email. If they are in Hertfordshire, I am hoping they are still active.DR. S. B. >From The Morning Post ( London, England ), Tuesday, November 24, 1818; Issue 14928. On Wednesday last John MOORE, of Ley Hill Common, Chesham, Bucks, offered for sale to Mr. Thos. SIMMONDS, of Watford, Herts, 19 pair of plough-chains, harrow and plough-irons, when Mr. SIMMONDS having suspicions, detained the man and the property; since which three pair of the chains have been owned by Mr. CURTISS, Steward to T. T. DRAKE, Esq., as his master's property, and MOORE is committed to Aylesbury Gaol for trial. The other property remains to be owned. Great credit is due to Mr. SIMMONDS for his conduct, for it is much to be regretted that blacksmiths are in the habit of purchasing this kind of property. Immediately that it was discovered a part a part of the property was owned, Mr. John BAILEY, High Constable of Chesham despatched two active constables to search MOORE's premises, when a number of farming implements, sacks, etc. were found, which are in the constables' possession.
>From The Standard ( London, England ), Wednesday, January 29,1862; pg. 4; Issue 11690. FATAL ACCIDENT TO MR. JAMES MORGAN, late Huntsman to Lord LONDSDALE, at Tring. An inquest was held at the residence of Edward PAYNE, Esq., of Hundridge, near Chesham, on Monday, before F. CHARSLEY, Esq., coroner, to inquire into the circumstances attending the death of Jim MORGAN, as he was familiarly called, aged 76, which took place on Saturday, in consequence of an accident he met with in pursuit of a fox. Lord LONSDALE's hounds met at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning, at Weedon Hill, near Chesham. Jim MORGAN's horse soon after the start stepped into hole, and made an ineffectual attempt to recover itself, and MORGAN fell heavily on the left side of his head. He remounted and followed in the chase for upwards of half an hour, when becoming worse he went into the residence of Edward PAYNE, Esq., of the Hundridge Farm, to whom he was much attached, and where he and his wife had been invited to dine. Several medical gentlemen were in attendance, but in vain; he was beyond the power of human skill, and a little after one o'clock, the veteran huntsman breathed his last without a struggle or a groan. He appeared perfectly conscious to the last. MORGAN leaves a large family behind him, many of whom follow the occupation which their sire followed before them. He was a man of excellent character. Below is an additional comment from The Bury and Norwich Post, and Suffolk Herald ( Bury Saint Edmunds, England ), Tuesday, February 04, 1862; pg 3; Issue 4154. [ The deceased, who was 76 years of age, was a native of Flowton, near Ipswich, and was formerly huntsman to Mr. LLOYD, of Hintlesham Hall ]
