Trying to find info on David Spicer, born about 1915 - 1916. Was living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada in 1940, but lost track after going to the UK in the 1950s. Presume he has since passed away but have no knowledge of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, whether alive or dead. Believe he also served in the RAF during the Second World War. However there seems to be no obvious planning, old and comparatively new mixed together. Some of the old inscriptions are almost illegible and low down making them all the more difficult to decipher. Hi Judy According to my tree, William Cooper 1795 probably died before 1803 as another William was born to this couple in 1803. They were the sons of William Cooper and Frances Pooley, married 8 May 1786 Ashwell (just a short distance from Baldock). Yes I had also found a marriage between a William Hanscombe and Sarah Jarvis but somewhere in my research files the name Sarah Francois is the connection to the Hanscombe line, but as yet Icannot bring it altogether. I do not know the age of Elizabeth Ada Hanscombe or where she was born so have no era to place them in. All I know is Joseph Rolfe born in 1844 married Elizabeth Ada Hanscombe, when I don't know.
