    3. Josie, According to Hugh Wallis's IGI site (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyHertford.htm#G), Rachel CRAWLEY was baptised 10 June 1804 at Great Gaddesden and Nettleden, father Thomas mother Martha. Various other siblings are shown as is the baptism of father Thomas. These are extracted submissions from the parish registers and therefore are more likely to be correct although obviously transcription errors could have been made. There is the member submitted record of a marriage on 14 February 1781 at Great Gaddesden of a Thomas CRAWLEY and a Martha DEAN on the IGI but as it is not an extracted record it is less likely to be correct. There are also baptismal records at Great Gaddesden of John BUTTERFIELD and his siblings on Hugh Wallis's site. 1. [HRT] Samuel Weatherley lookup request
    2. Hi listers, I'd be very grateful for help finding parents, and siblings if possible, for Samuel Weatherley b c1827. Census returns show his birthplace as St Albans, St Peters or Hatfield in various years. In the 1841 census I found him in hospital in London and by 1851 he was married and had left home. Any information would be much appreciated. Lisa

    3. Hi Lisa, Do you have ancestry.co.uk? If so you may have been missing this family because of the way the index has been interpreted..Weatherby instead of Weatherly..which when you look at the original census image It is Weatherly. 2. Ian Silver
    3. My first post on the Hertfordshire list, would be very grateful for any links or information that people might have on the following surnames please. James WITTOCKS, b.1765 in Walkern. Married Susannah Totman. Looking for his birthdate and parents. Unsuccessful trip to the Hertford archives failed to find this information! Spelling could be WIDDICKS, or perhaps any of a number of variations in between. Ruth EWINGTON, b. 1816 in Welwyn. Looking for any information on her father John (the name is all I have). Many thanks in anticipation. Ian Silver E-mail message checked by Spyware Doctor (5.5.0.178) Database version: 5.09800 http://www.pctools.com/Spyware-Doctor/

    3. Im not a fan of the enhanced viewer, I much prefer the original images :) Mainly because I can scroll with the scroll wheel on the mouse instead of click-dragging. You can also right click > Save Image, instead of going through the hoops on the enhanced. Just my preference though :) [email protected] wrote: > I had that problem at one point.
