1. [HRT] WADE / HALSEY
    2. Pat Wade
    3. Hi, I would love to make contact with descendents of either Frederick Charles WADE and/or Katie HALSEY. Frederick WADE (born Tring) married Mary Anne FOGG in 1897 in Edmonton and had two children that I know of (Frank and Sydney) his second wife was Katie HALSEY who he married in 1923 in Watford. They also had two children that I know of (Margaret Alice & Christina) Katies first husband was James GOODMAN who she married in 1913 in Watford. Frederick was a fishmonger and worked in Windsor. I believe that they lived in Windsor most of their married life. All three are buried at the Windsor Cemetery which I do have photos of. Frederick and Katie buried together and Mary not far away. Frank and Sydney came to Australia shortly after the two girls were born. From Fredericks will in 1948 I suspect that the girls were not married at that stage. They were only 21 and 18 at that time. Thank you. Regards, Pat Wade (Nee King)

It looks as if she lied about her age on her marriage certificate, as according to her birth cert she would have been 17? not full age as stated. regards carolynn -----Original Message----- From: Emscote <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, 19 May 2008 17:03 Subject: Re: [HRT] Watford woman with 30 children Maybe one couldn't believe all one read in the papers even then! 3. Hi Angela, Thank you very much for the offer. I have Thomas ANDREWS/ANDERSON and Sarah (don't have the marriage yet) who I believe had Eleanor Nov 1773, Martha Apr 1778, Rebecca Mar 1779, George Feb 1780, Mary May 1781 all baptized in Flamstead. The family then moved to Great Gaddesden. I would be interested if any of these died - I have not had the film as yet. Martha married in 1801 in Great Gaddesden. Thank you Pat -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Angela Cox Sent: Sunday, 18 May 2008 7:54 PM To: hertfordshire rootsweb Subject: [HRT] Andrew Gaddesden and Flamstead Hi, Thanks to all who helped solve my messaging problem. I have found the National Archives to be a good source of online info. for Flamstead (I'm after Catlins) and Gaddesden. Just putting the place names into the search gets quite a few results mostly part of the papers of the Sebright estate which throws up a lot of stuff to do with land and property rentals. I've also got a copy of Flamstead MIs on the way so if I can be of any use tracking down burials just ask. Angela __________________________________________________ ________ Sent from Yahoo! Mail.
