Just done a search on Google, seems to be in Worcestershire. None of the mapping sites bring it up, however there are two Shelsley's north west of Worcester (Shelsley Walsh and Shelsley Beauchamp). It's seems probable its one of those names which has disappeared as areas get renamed as all the finds in Google are referring to events around 1700's to about 1830. Text at http://www.phancocks.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/localhistory/naunton.htm refers to Great Shelsley, however all the online maps I could find seem to be 1880 or later, and Great Shelsley had disappeared by then. Hope the above is of some help.
