Reposting - Good Evening, (Sydney Time) I am still clutching at straws with my research into our Jones family. My g.g/father had the unfortunate name of William Henry JONES, I do realize there were,are and will be millions of them out there. From his D/C he was born in Welsh Town, Wales, to Joseph Henry Jones, soldier and Margaret (?) , came to Australia c. 1860, (have not found a shipping record of this yet), occupations: gardener, farm hand and coachman. Married Elizabeth (Young) Perry in 1872, died in Balmain, Sydney, NSW in 1910. Kind regards, Joan. Sydney. Australia.
