Dear List, I'd be very interested to hear from anyone with any info. about the following families HACKLEY - of unknown origin. William Hackley of Wellington was born sometime in the first qtr. of the 1800's. Census birthplaces given as Wellington and Mordiford, neither correct but I presume they are a Hefs. family after the hamlet of Hackley. BALDWIN - of Wellington. Hester Baldwin married Herbert Yeomans in 1816. She was born circa 1794. LEACH - of Moreton-on-Lugg. Jane Leach married Thomas Yeomans there in 1783. MELLIN - of Bodenham and Burghill. John Mellin (md. Elizabeth unk. circa 1700s in unk. parish) of Burghill was probably the son of Peter Mellin and Joan Roberts of Burghill. They were md. in Bodenham in 1673.
