Stole potatoes, was tried & convicted on 25.3.1828, sent to Australia and arrived in 1829. He married Hannah SIMMS aka Anne SIMMONDS 14.12.1835 at Castlereagh, NSW. Australia. He died 8.9.1876 at Penrith NSW. Hannah SIMMS was also a convict, occupation: Dairymaid, from Shropshire. Charged with arson, she was tried and convicted at Shewsbury on 15.3.1832. Arrived on board 'Fanny Two' in Sydney 1833. She had tattoos - "2RIMB, ft 1hb t hmp" on upper left arm and right arm - (meaning unknown.) Joan. Sydney. Australia.
