Dear Listers, I am looking for any information on Rev William BAYLIS. I found a link with Hereford in a Settlement Bond Dated Aug 27 1760 "William Hale of St Nicholas Bristol,brazier, Hannah Baylis widow for expected child of the Rev.William & Margaret Baylis----- the child of the Revd William Baylis now of the city of HEREFORD is likely to be born in Westerleigh Gloucestershire." I haven't found a child born to William & Margaret in the Westerleigh baptisms. I have found a marriage of William BAYLIS & Margaret COLLINS on IGI 15th May 1760 Little Birch Hereford The Hannah BAYLIS mentioned in the Bond may be my 5GGrandmother and I would like to find out if the Rev.William fits into my Baylis family.
