I have received a death certificate for Tracy PREECE aged 8 months in 1839. He died of convulsions at Norton Canon, the death was registered by Thomas AUSTIN, present at the death Norton Canon. I am hoping that this is the son of my ancestor Ann PREECE the widow of Thomas PREECE who died 5 months earlier in 1839, they lived at Pig Street, Norton Canon. I was hoping that this was perhaps a neighbour who came to provide assistance at the time, but I cannot so far find a Thomas AUSTIN in Norton Canon on my 1841 census images CD.
