Hello Des, I'm just re-sending this reply to the list, as I've just had a warning email that so far my email to your address cannot be delivered, perhaps your mailbox is full or something. Apologies for this. Cathy Hello Des, That sounds very hopeful because Ann PREECE 48 and her sister Mary ROBB 52 in the 1851 census in Middlesex, (both nee NICHOLAS) were born Kinnersley. As Ann would have been born about 1803 Thomas AUSTIN was a generation younger so may have been the son of one of her married sisters. With a sick child in the house I suppose her family could have been there to help and support her, after all she'd only lost her husband about 5 months before. Thank you so much for that Des, I think that I'll have a look at any possible AUSTIN marriages, to either PREECE or NICHOLAS, that might turn up something. Grateful thanks, Cathy in South Australia Desmond Gwilliam wrote: > Hi Cathy, > > I've had a quick look for Thomas Austin in 1841, the nearest appears to be > in Kinnersley, which I believe is not far from Norton Canon, theres is one > in Weobley, Kinnersley Thomas was born in 1826. > . > When & where was Ann Preece born, if I find her perhaps Thomas will show up > as a neighbour. > > Best Wishes, > > Des
