I wondered if anybody was researching the Garston/Garstone family in Hereford? Margaret Garston married Walter Robinson on 22 October, 1874 in Hereford. My grandmother, Mary Annie, was born on 25 February, l879. There were two older boys, Walter and Frank with two girls born later, Susan and Amy. I cannot find any reference to the family in the 1881 Census. I assume they were in Hereford as the father is listed as being an architect there. I joined this group a few weeks ago and have been full of nostalgia seeing all the names mentioned around Hereford. When I was a child we spent many happy holidays in Hereford and having picnics in the countryside. An old print of the cathedral and the bridge has pride of place on my wall.
