Would like to find information on the youngest of nine children of James MEREDITH and Elizabeth PITT. Thomas John MEREDITH was christened/baptized 7 December 1828 in Clodock Parish, Longtown Township, Herefordshire, England. His three next oldest siblings were all three christened/baptized in October 1825 in Clodock. He has one brother that may have been born in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire and another that was christened/baptized at Peter Church, Herefordshire, England. Would like to find out if he did marry, to whom, date, where, did he have any children. He was listed by name in the will of his maternal grandfather, James PITT Sr., written in 1832, proved in 1834. Also he is listed by name in the will of his maternal uncle, James PITT Jr., written in 1840, proved in 1844. So it appears he died after October of 1840. It is believed that his parents are the James MEREDITH and Elizabeth that were living on Redlay Farm, Cusop Parish, Herefordshire when 1851 census was taken. If so, he was not with them on that census. They continued to live there and in nearby Clyro, Radnorshire, Wales. Both these individuals were buried at St. Michael's, Clyro Radnorshire, Wales, it appears. His eldest brother was living in Hay, Breconshire, Wales and apparently died between the time of the 1832 and 1840 Pitt wills. His two surviving children were mentioned in the 1840 will. He had a brother that married in Glamorganshire in 1836 and was in the Lower Merthyr Tydfil area when 1841 census was taken. By 1849 this brother was in the United States and died shortly after his arrival of cholera. He had four sisters. One of these appears to have died before the 1840 will, one after 1840, one was unmarried and may have died at Cusop or Clyro about 1879, and one that may have died in 1849 of cholera after going to the United States.
