Diane, I tried a two prong attack! 1. I tried for the Postcode for Litfield Bank Cottage on www.royalmail.com Up came : Litfield Bank, Lyonshall, Kington Litfield House Farm, Lyonshall. Kington. 2. www.herefordshire.gov.uk and click on 'Historic Herefordshire' gets you to the Herefordshire Field Name Survey results. There was no Litfield as a field name, but there was Litfield as the location for seven entries, none with a field name, but one described as 'house garden etc.' The Ordnance Survey reference is SO3355.
