Does anybody have reasonable access to the parish register details for Dilwyn? I have the birth certificate for Edmund Richards, the son of John Richards and Mary Ann Godsall, born 1851 in Dilwyn. There is only one possible marriage of John Richards and Mary Ann Godsall in the IGI but the date is 10 February 1824, which would appear to be a decade too early - their first child was baptised in 1835. In addition, I cannot find a Mary Ann Godsall baptised in Dilwyn who could be the likely bride if the date is ineed 1824. I am wondering whether this could possibly be a transcription error and if anyone could check the original entry I would be most grateful. Ruth Henriegel
