Hello John, You need a look up of the Parish Records for Leintwardine. I see that he was consistent (1851 - 1901) in declaring his birthplace as Leintwardine with the exception of 1861 where he is merely recorded as being from Herefordshire. The baptisms are not on the IGI or the British Isles Vital Records Index, version 2 that I have. Hopefully someone on the list will be visiting HEF CRO soon and do a check for you?
