Hello Mandy, Staunton on Arrow was an "Ancient Parish" - and was in Kington Registration District. Unfortunately I don't have the 1851 Piece Number readily to hand... I'd also mention that it was divided between Stretford and Wigmore Hundreds, and so is likely to've been listed in 2 places in the 1841. I am now almost back to normal - well at least enough to start researching again and asking questions. I have two questions about Staunton on (or upon) Arrow - I wonder if anyone can help. Firstly, I cannot find Staunton on the 1851 (found it on the 41 no probs but.) I've tried looking under nearby villages of Titley, Marston, Shobdon but none seem to cover Staunton. Did it get missed completely or am I looking in the wrong place altogether? Secondly, I have a lot of Powells born in Staunton on Arrow (yes, I know Powell is like SMITH to the rest of the country) but I wondered if anyone had access to the PRs for Staunton who might be able to help me sort out a few conundrums.
