I wonder whether the following names "ring any bells" with anyone. George Oswald PRICE b. l877 St. Maughans, Mon., married Mary [ - ] b. l874 Tenbury, Worcs. (possibly Mary FREEMAN). George was one of seven children born to Edwin Wm. PRICE of Dilwyn (b. l827) and his second wife, Rhoda PRITCHARD (b. ca. l85l St. Maughan's) George and Mary parents to: Amy Beatrice PRICE b. l900 Hereford All Saints (married Sydney William FLETCHER, a railwayman from "Ropewalk, Llanelly") Cissie Winifred PRICE b. 1907 Hereford (married Albert Edward SIMMONS) Gladys Irene PRICE b. 1909 Hereford (married Hilo DAVIES) The families initially lived in Berrington Street, Hereford and subsequently (l930s) at Carey/Ballingham. We know that George Oswald PRICE died in Ballingham in June l955 but do not know where he is buried. No date for his wife Mary. If anyone is familiar with Ballingham I would be grateful to know whether any monumental inscriptions have been indexed for the local church.
