Seeking VERRY connections - Herefordshire, ENG Initially the VERRY surname came to light with my 3*grt grandfather's youngest daughter, Elizabeth Verry MEREDITH (bn 1841, Richmond SRY). I now know that her father John MEREDITH, (par's James & Ann), was bapt. in July 1797 at Madley, near Hereford. The IGI carries what I think must be James's marriage entry, viz: 1797, St Peter's Ch, Hereford, John MEREDITH to Ann VERRY. Possible IGI Hereford bapt. matches for 'Ann VERRY' might be: 23 Apr 1766 - Saint Martin, Hereford: Ann VERRY d. of William & Elizabeth (Not sure if this refers to a village or actual parish in Hereford.) 01 Dec 1771 - Little Birch Anne VERRY d. of John & Eleanor David Meredith Nottingham
