Hundred of Llanbedr Painscastle,Clyro Parish.HO 107:1456:ED 1 & 2 James MEREDITH,55,Yeoman,No ( not born in County ),residence Paradise,folio f8 page 8 Elizabeth ,50,No David ,20,Ag Lab,No Henry ,16,Ag Lab,No Hannah ,15,F.S.,No As you may have noticed James had the title of a "Yeoman" which you can find out the meaning of.Also none of the above were born in Radnorshire so maybe Herefordshire and the Cusop or Clodock area of Longtown is worth investigating?
