    3. No, the burial location is not given because the death certificate has to be issued before a burial or cremation can be arranged. Burials have to be checked out with church or crematoria records. ======================================== Message Received: Jun 11 2006, 09:23 AM From: "Sandra Lewis" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: Subject: [HEF] Burial location Can someone tell me if the burial location is listed on UK death certificates? The time period I'm enquiring about is 1871. The registration district is Hereford, so plenty of possibilities and its likely to get expensive if searching one-by-one. I hope that if I can find the burial of the husband (a "rare" name), I'll find the wife (much more common name). They are not in the HFHS Monumental Inscription Index, but there are some very likely relatives to pursue. If this doesn't work, is there another way to find deaths for those with common names? - other than matching ages which are sometimes way off.
