Hello Bob and Polly, Have had another look at Herefordshire census 1871,RG10-2712 Folio 77 page 13,Entry 74 at Norton,which is as follows:- Joseph WILDSMITH,Head,Married,42?,Bricklayer,born Gi???ton,Herefordshire Elizth ,Wife,M,38,born Bromyard,Hefs James ,Son,9,Scholar,born Bromyard,Hefs Herbert J ,Son,6,Scholar,born,Bromyard,Hefs William H ,Son,2,born Norton,Hefs Joseph's place of birth is definitely not written the same as others entered as Norton.It is a little difficult to try and decipher it,am not even sure of first letter. On the census entry 70 which was enumerated before the Wildsmith family ,had an address of Taylors Seasour? or Similar and entry address's after the Wildsmiths were 77:-Elden Cottage and 80:-Broadbridge Cottage.Gave that in case anyone can localise the area.
