Hi Bob & Malcom Joseph's birthplace is "Linton" - the Ancestry index has that right (compare with Lower Sapey further on the same census page). Another township of Bromyard, as I think I said. The place name that you weren't sure of is "Taylor's Leasow" and there is "The Saddlers Arms" at schedule 78 between Elde*r* Cottage and Broadbridge Cottage. Broad Bridge is the bridge that the Stourport road out of Bromyard crosses the River Frome, I think that the other addresses are all on the Downs. Certainly the address given on the registration of Joseph's last child, born in 1872, was "Downs, Norton". On the census entry 70 which was enumerated before the Wildsmith family ,had an address of Taylors Seasour? or Similar and entry address's after the Wildsmiths were 77:-Elden Cottage and 80:-Broadbridge Cottage.Gave that in case anyone can localise the area.
