I know he is widowed (by then for 10 months) and has the youngest of his children still with him (he has been for at least 25 years a serious alcoholic) and will shortly be taken off to live with a married son and his wife. We'd just like to know what "Free Paddock" was, if we can. Not the location, the accommodation if you see what I mean. Is this a polite way of saying "under a hedge"? It is March. I expect he would be destitute. Hi Steve I don't have any information on the Daniels and Woodyatts. However, I notice that you have the name Dennis in your list of interests adn I am hoping that you are able to help me. My ancestor is Mary Holt she is the daughter of Thomas Hoult (Holt) and Susannah. The only marriage I have been able to find for a Thomas Hoult and Susanna is - Susannah Dennis married Thomas Hoult (Holt) at Pencome 14th March 1797. If I am right, after their marriage they went to live in Bodenham where Mary, her twin and her siblings were born. There is a twist to this in that Mary married a Thomas Kington who had been married twice before. One of his previous wifes was a Esther Unett, by whom Thomas had two sons. I don't know anything about Esther as I have been more interested in my direct ancester Mary, but it does seem strange that you also have UNETT on your list. I would be very grateful if you are able help with any information on any of the above.
