Hello Roy, Have had a look at Hereford Gaol on 1871 Herefordshire census.They only put initials for Christian Name and a prisoner number down. On RG 10 2698 ,their is a prisoner number 72,Sentence was under condition, who looks to have the initials JS age was ?2,he was a Dyer,place of birth looks to be Langmasden,Yorkshire, Best Wishes, Malcolm in Wales
