A strange question to all of the historians amongst you . According to all the files available for the De Lacey family in the LDS site ,it seems that the De Lacey's come into my tree in the early 1100's . I know that these files are not always accurate but I found a Roger De Lacey born c 1062 who married an Emma .Now all these files have Emma as the daughter of Walter de lacey and Ermiline Fitz Osbern who were also the parents of Roger . I know that this family were pretty important people BUT if the files have it right ,would a marriage be allowed ? I 'd be interested to hear your views on the matter . regards, Buddug Hollett
