    3. I know that there is a copy in the Family History Library here in Salt Lake City because I have used it. They probably also have it also on Microfilm which could be loaned out to your local family history center. Look at www.familysearch.org and click on the part that says family history library and search the catalog for Hereford--you may also search via title, Visitation of Herefordshire. If available, that will give you the film number. Also you can find the address of your local FHC at the same site. The cost will certainly be much less than 300 pounds!--I think it is Less than $5 to get the film on loan although it might take a little Time. If that fails and it is that important I might be prevailed upon to do a look-up but it takes me about 3 hours back and forth and is a problem with my handicapped child and wife. (The Harleian Society only lists the older one in their online catalogue - is there something not quite up to scratch about the one you seek for it to be so elusive?) http://www.college-of-arms.gov.uk/ cheers David On 27 Feb 2008, at 14:57, Della Markey wrote: > Dear List > > > > Does anyone know of the whereabouts of a copy of the Visitation of > Herefordshire in 1683? 3. Steve I've checked online, but it seems the Family History Library only have the Visitation of Herefordshire 1634, not of 1683. Thanks for your suggestion though.
