Walford baptisms pre-1813 haven't been filmed yet by the FoD people. Walford baptisms 1663-1871 are on the IGI, batch number C163771, but the coverage is amazingly patchy with only approximately 60% of entries there (from my experience). However the IGI shows a William JONES bapt. 7 Oct 1788 at Walford s/o James & Elizabeth JONES but this sounds to be too old for your man. With the BTs many years are missing.....
