Hi Norma, Where was Sarah born? What address was the letter sent from? Does it say where the parents were living? Have you traced Sarah and her family through the censuses from 1861 to 1901? Both Williams and Davis are extremely popular surnames. I have numerous Davis family members including a John 1832-1919 who married twice but to Elizabeth then Mary Jane. Also a Davis family that went to Vermont in 1870 followed by more siblings in 1890 to New York City. The names are so common it will be far too easy to make mistakes in i.d. With a bit more information i can check to see if we have a lucky coincidence.
