Hi there. Unfortunately it seems there is little that can be done to avoid this problem. My method is to only publish material that I am willing to accept may get "lifted". I have a mass of data and information at home on my personal records that does not and will not appear on my web site. I do use Genes but only upload manually and the basic data to form the tree.
