Another extract from 'Cambrian' Newspaper, 22 Feb. 1817 WENDY DIED Last week, at his house in Berners Street, London, in the 60th year of his age, JOHN BARNEBY, Esq., of Brockhampton, Herefordshire. In recording departed worth it may be justly said that his death will be a great loss to his tenantry, dependants, workmen, and the poor in particular. In his dealings he was punctual, candid and just; an upright magistrate, a generous rewarder of merit, a sincere friend, a kind master, a loving brother, an affectionate husband, a tender father, and a truly good man.
