I found that the POWELL family (went on the Tim Whiffler) on the Queensland assisted passage web-site you gave.Can I use the reference nos that was allocated to them to check if they came from the parish of Madely? Hi Sylvia, Yes, the immigration records should give everyone's birthplace, names of their parents, and lots of other info - but only on the original record, not in the online index (which just gives age).
