I wonder if anyone is researching the ADAMS and Thomas family of Pencombe and Hope Under Dinmore. Alice Thomas of Pencombe married James Adams of Hope under Dinmore in Pencombe on Oct 22 1883. I can track them living in Hope under Dinmore in 1891 and Alice & their daughter Agnes in 1901 census. Alice bought Masons Cottage in Pencombe when the Arkwright estate was sold in 1911 and she might have returned to look after her parents Richard & Jane (nee Williams) Thomas. Agnes married William Arthur Colley in 1910 the son of the village blacksmith. Would love to hear from anyone tracking this family as I would love to know when Alice Adams moved from the village Many thanks Barbara Haner
