Hi David Have you downloaded the will? You really need to do that first to see if the error lies in the original (in which case you cannot really challenge the indexing) or in the index (when you can). Confusing Hertfordshire and Herefordshire is a common error, even today! If the error is in the original then you can post a comment about it on the new(ish) Your Archives site run by TNA: http://yourarchives.nationalarchives.gov.uk If you need any help with reading it, let me know. To my surprise I found the listing below which seems to think King's Caple is in Hertfordshire. Should I do something about this? What? Hi Polly, No I won't download the will, someone of the same surname married one of my lot 30 years later. There may be a link but I thought I would consult first with another interested in Guillims. Anyway a bit far from Ledbury. I don't find old wills difficult (have just checked and the oldest I have is 1706, I;ve many though, all of about that time) so its photography not orthography that might beat me - it hasn't yet. cheers David On 13 Mar 2008, at 22:20, Polly Rubery wrote: > Hi David > > Have you downloaded the will?
