    3. Dear all, One of my ancestors is Eduart Habbi (Edward Hobby), who married Teuntje van Bedeveld in the Dutch town of Driel in 1705. Most probably Edward was British and he may have been a soldier. Obviously he stayed in The Netherlands, since the couple got 6 children between 1705 and 1719, which were all baptized in Driel. Their names: John, Mary, William, Esther, Lutjen and Anthony. Further details can be found on my genealogical homepage http://www.ghes.myweb.nl. Who can help me to trace Edward's roots? Familysearch.com reveals the baptism of a Edward Hobby on 3 Mar 1674 in Brobury, Hereford, as son of John Hobby and Aulita. This would fit rather well, with a view to the names of the children. I feel that Lutjen might well be a Dutch form of Aulita/Aoliciae. Could anyone of you confirm this or check any relevant source of information for me? Thanks and best regards, Gijsbert Hesselink, from The Netherlands
