Hi Helen and Jane I have been reading your messages re the above surname. If it is any help to either of you I have a couple of occurences in my VERNALL database which may be connected. Jane VERNALL (chr. 1815) at Skelton, Hef. married John CAFFULL (born abt. 1814 Mordiford, Hef.) on 4th August 1836 at Tarrington. Ann VERNALL married George SCAFFOLD of Tarrington on 7th September 1823 at Stoke Edith, Hef. The latter may be another variant. Hope this is of some use. Hello Sue, Thank you for your information re John Caffull of Mordiford. I haven't as yet built a picture up of the family; have only done a little research into this side of my father's family who link into the Caffelle or Caffull when Ann Caffelle married Richard William Roberts in 1868. This will be kept on file. Wishing you a Healthy and Wealthy New Year. With Best Wished and again many thanks, Jane Earles nee Roberts, Perth, WA - still a pom at heart ... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vernall" <vernall@xtra.co.nz> To: <ENG-HEREFORD-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, 31 December 2002 4:49 Subject: [HEF] Re : SCAFFALL and variants > Hi Helen and Jane > > I have been reading your messages re the above surname.
