    3. Cliff, the message you post on the lists gets sent to all on the list, which of course includes the sender (you), which is why you get your own message sent to you. A couple of things which might help you; Maybe the Leeds Wor was meant to be Leigh Wor, certainly sounds similar. (Pronounced LEE) Sometimes when asked where born it might be stated Hereford, if near to the location this may actually mean Hereford City, but when a long way off in America, just maybe this means Herefordshire. Leigh is just over the border into Worcestershire, just maybe they considered it to be in Herefordshire in the 1840's ?? Just something to think about. Emma does not appear to be in either the Herefordshire or Gloucestershire 1851 census indexes by the way.
