Son of Henry Skey... this may be the Skey's I have been hunting for.. Two sons settled in NZ in 1800s. Need to know their family background.. Need where they actually lived... Sons who were in NZ were: William Skey born 1845. died 1900. Ernest Stanley Skey born May 25 1869. died Nove. 1893. the name Fortescue is mentioned through the family wonder if a maiden name passed down? Any assistance gratefully received. Temple about the Skey family, so it must be the correct one, as Wm. Skey I was told was a Barrister...father of our William..but could not find out anything when I searched the census.. I was told came from London..but nothing there for them...
