Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help me with the source of a picture and any further details of this defunct church please. The Historic Herefordshire Online database gives just the following brief details:- "Church was pulled down in 1881. The remaining walls, some standing to 5', give little or no indic of the date of the structure, but can hardly be earlier than the C13. The walls of the church standing up to 1m high are V overgrown. " As the church records only exist until 1877, that would appear to tie in with the date of demolition. My great grandparents, John WOOD & Susannah GARBETT were married in this church on 1st October 1835. I visited the site about 5 years ago, but it now appears to be on private property and a largish modern house had been built adjacent to the site of the church. Hence I could not even go wandering and attempt to discover the remains of the walls - not that I knew they existed at the time of my visit! Any information would be much appreciated.
