Hi every one., Until recently , I have been unable to find where my grandmother came from, as My Grandfather Alfred Jones Booth came from Darliston and all his Kin, I naturally thought Gran would be a round the same area. but as there were dozens of Elizabeth Evan born in 1867, and the marriage certificate only had her Fathers name on it (Henry,) it didn't help. Then last night while looking through a small part of the 1891 census, there they were with a young daughter Sarah , living in Aston, and low and behold Gran,s birth place was Hereford ,I was so excited as there was some mystery around the wedding as it was told Great Granddad Henry ,was against the wedding and disinherited Gran, also Gran had Welsh connections, So I can't wait to get her Birth certificate to see who her Mother was, unfortunately, I have no Idea where to apply, so would really appreciate some help on this matter. Many thanks Happy Thanks Giving to all Doreen P. Brampton, Ontario.
