Hello Gerald Thank you so much for your reply - it gives me a slightly different listing of the Card family, which I will now have to research further. I had an Emily Dukes Card baptized 7 Nov 1843 - she seems to have been Robert Michael's sister (he was born in Monmouth, we think, in 1834 or 35). Since he married Fanny Eleanor Morgan in 1855, it seems possible that there were other children before the 1858 birth of Hannah Maria but, from your information, it appears that this Emily Dukes Card was a sister (twin?) to Hannah Maria. Also you have some different place names. The Frederic William on your list is new to us, too. Gertrude Mary was my husband's grandmother. We attended the interment of the last of Clement John Card's children just last week. All of his family is buried in the beautiful Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa, Manitoba (Canada). Can the VR be searched on the net? It seems a good place for me to be looking. I am a transcriber for freeBMD - so I keep and eye on their listings - and I use familysearch a lot. When time permits, I visit my local LDS Family History Centre - but usually have to special order records to search. Hugh Wallis' website is an enormous help - but sometimes the dates or districts just aren't there. Thanks again - I think these LISTS are great and I have received some wonderful help and advice from feloow-researchers and "Listers". Regards Jan Jones Winnipeg
