    3. Hi Phil! No info for you sorry, but I just wanted to publicly thank you & Heather for your parts in a great, and very educational, day out at the Family & Local History Fair at LLandrindod Wells last Saturday. I'd probably have spent more time at your stall, but the sauna effect was quite disconcerting! I went there, hoping to learn a little more about research - I didn't expect that whilst there, the knowledge about one branch of my family tree would increase by 160 years; I had been stuck on a gt-gt-grandfather born in 1849, now I have info on 4 of his gt-gt-gt grandparents, and the parents of one of those! All for the sake of one word, as my gt-gt-gt-grandfather's forename was mis-transcribed on the 1851 BRE Census. Knowledge of another elusive branch also went back a couple of decades, and I even got a couple of rough birthdates for some Herefordshire families. All in all, it was definitely worth the effort of making the trek, and not just to get an idea of some faces behind the names on these lists. x Kate.
