Hi! I am (still) looking for information about the parents of my great-grandfather, Mark ROBERTS, born in Clehonger, Herefordshire on 12 Mar 1860. His mother was Elizabeth BURGOYNE. His father is not listed on his birth certificate, so I assume Mark was illegitimate (or an orphan?) but that his fathers surname was ROBERTS. David Porter gave me some great info (thanks, David) back in May that he got from the 1881 and 1891 censuses of Clehonger, and from some monumental inscriptions - but these don't help in determining even who the father might have been. Can anyone give me any clues as to how I could find out what his father's name was? Thanks, Allen New Zealand
