Steve, Looking at the Herefordshire 1851 census index, i do in fact find the entries you refer to for Monkley, the 727a refers to the folio number as you presumed, the 1851 census is on film, so not economical to purchase for just a few entries, but if you would like to contact me i can put you in touch with one of our committee who can, for a small donation, do you a print-out from the original film. The 1851 census index was in fact the first census index done by Herefordshire FHS some years ago and does NOT include Parish Born.
