Hi everyone, Most of you know me, I always like to help people. This lady has contacted me and my records don't supply her with the records that she needs for her Dad. Could anyone out there help us with this one? I would really appreciate it. Dear Ms. Waring, In perusing the message boards for Waring I have seen your postings and your apparent expertise with this surname. I am the g-granddaughter of Charles Waring, an Episcopal Minister m. Roseanna Billington 6 September 1866 at St. Margaret in Leicester. Of this union were 13 children, 3 were female. I am told all 10 males were lost at sea as Mariners before marrying or having offspring. Of the three daughters only one had any offspring, my Grandmother Ethel b.29 June 1881 in Christchurch d. 18 November 1967 in Corvallis, OR. She married John Carlisle Jelowitz and had one son, Frederick Charles Jelowitz. My father, now nearing 80, would like to have some connection to his ancestry. The Jelowitz surname seems to have disappeared from any records. I would be most grateful should you be able to assist me in giving my father this information.
