Hi all Who was it who said recently that the more you find out the less you know ? Too true ! According to the 1881 census my g grandparents, Isaac and Martha Morgan, were living in Ketley with their young family and their inlaws (ie Isaac's inlaws) John and Mary Pritchard. Simple so far, I thought. I was wrong, for on my grandmothers birth cert it gives Martha's name as formerly Caswell/Casewell, and not Pritchard as I expected. So......... was she married before ? was her mother, Mary, a Caswell (maiden name or previous marriage) ? was she adopted by the Pritchards ? I found a very likely birth record for Martha - born to William and Elizabeth Casewell in March 1845 (on igi). But where do the Pritchards fit in ??? If anyone is able to throw any light on this , or has any other suggestions I would love to hear. Many thanks Mal
