I have searched in vain for a marriage in Lincolnshire of my ancestor James ROGERS to "Civil/Seville/Sivel/etc" circa 1730. A kind lister pointed out that a James ROGERS married Sibyl DEVREUX in Fownhope with Fawleye in 1729. The names and dates are fine, but the location seems a long way off. Does anyone know if there was an established ROGERS family in that area, as I know mine was Lincs. born? I'd be glad of any help. Cheers, Liz Davies
