At the age of 78 I emigrated to Sarnia , in the middle of the Great Lakes ,Canada and now 3years later am trying to tie up some loose ends in my wifes family history in Hereford . Not been easy by the fact that both her Gt Gt Grandmothers are called MARY ANNE LEWIS but I have copies of both their marriage certificates HILL Family JOHN HILL Believed b. 31 July 1808 Wife OLIVE Date of b. and marriage not known Son EDWARD b..2 Nov 1834 ( no knowledge of any other children ) LEWIS Family THOMAS b. not known Wife MARY ( LILLEY ) b. not known M.1 Feb 1836 Daughter MARY ANNE b.13 Dec. 1840 ( no knowlege of any other children ) EDWARD HILL married MARY ANNE LEWIS on 14 June 1860 Holmer Parish Church Herefordshire Children from this Marriage are EMMA b, 1864 Eaton Bishop LEONARD H. b. 1867 Withington ARTHUR b. " ANNIE O. b. " CHARLES E. b. " GERTRUDE M. b. " Could SKS with access to Census 1851 1861 1871 please check and verify these families entris are correct and ay other information available .
