Dear listers, I'm writing to offer a couple of occurences of the name BARRELL/BARROL, in case anyone can tie them up with what they already have. 1. When my ancestor John Grainger, of Hereford St Owen wrote his Will in Sep 1791, he left to his son Samuel a "freehold coppice known as Barrols Coppice in the township of Grafton, in St Martins". 2. The marriage at Pershore St Andrew, Worcs., of James Grainger, son of John above; no 234. James Grainger of the parish of St Owen in the City of Hereford, bachelor, and Martha Barrell, of this parish, spinster, were married in this Church by licence this 15th day of August 1793, by me John Mogridge, vicar, in the presence of us, Mary Barrell, B S Moorigde [Mogridge? and] Lot Coper [/Soper?] If this raises any questions, I'll try to answer them.
